Hello,
A fidget can also be used to de-stress the body and help increase focus and attention. Fidgets have particular properties that intrigue sensory systems. The premise is that children with special needs with learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Tourette’s syndrome, autism, anxiety disorder or obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), reduce their fidgeting and increase their focus through the handling of a fidget.

Thanks for the helpful tips, Michele. It's never too early to begin teaching our kids about the amazing things their bodies can do.

Hi,

I saw you on the today show this morning. My 5 year old daughter loves to do yoga on wii fit and I think it would be healthy habit to incorporate into her life. She tends to be a very stressed out child. Do you have any suggestions for yoga dvds for kids? I would like to do this with her.

Thanks,
Beth
