Hello Dr. Borba,

My daughter says that she sees a tube or box in her mind that sometimes looks rough like when she speaks low and then when she talks louder she says it "feels" smooth. She is 7 yrs old and reads at a much higher level and seems to understand things alot faster then other kids her age. I am concerned about the visualization however. Have you ever heard of this before? Thank you, John

Hi Dr Borba,
The public school we attend only has a program where the gifted children are taken out of their regular classroom for a couple of hours a week. Usually missing Art, Music, Computer etc. Is it worth it?
Thanks

Hi Dr.Borba,

I have a 16-year-old daughter, who has been tested and labeled as highly gifted. She has trouble "turning off her mind" at night, and therefore, she gets way too little sleep. Is this common among gifted children, and what can or should be done about it?

Thank you!
